Adams Park Neighborhood - Atlanta Neighborhood

Atlanta is a sprawling historical city that is such a part of the American culture that people are constantly drawn into it. As a consequence it boasts many suburbs and neighborhoods that are home to diverse people and also many cultural attractions. Adams Park is one of these neighborhoods, located in Cobb County within Kennesaw, as part of Atlanta’s metropolitan area.

The Adams Park area is home to many families and is the location of many unique amenities that people might be surprised to stumble upon. While the center of Atlanta or other, larger neighborhoods and suburbs are home to large universities, sports stadiums and diverse eateries, smaller communities like Adams Park, are usually left off the tourist radar and even the radars of those looking to relocate within the Atlanta metropolitan area. Why you may ask? They assume there is other, more functional places to reside that will make it easier to find quality groceries, libraries, restaurants and people to spend time with.

While it is true that larger urban centers will boast many of these facilities and also be home to more people, families, singles and couples to socialize with, Adams Park has its share of attractions for people looking for an apartment or to buy a home. Residents themselves are very pleased with the area, being green and fresh, well-kept, and quieter than many other areas of the city. The actual Adams Park makes for a lovely view as well as somewhere to relax on a walk by your self or bring the kids for a little fresh air.

The small restaurants found in the neighborhood have surprised even the locals with their friendly atmosphere and high quality foods. Adams Park is the place to find good home-style cooking and what Southerners will call ‘soul food’. A little place called The Beautiful Restaurant will cater to your most basic cravings and leave you more than satisfied upon leaving.

The existing little diners and eateries are kid-friendly for the most part, as is the entire community. Given that this is one of the smaller areas of metropolitan Atlanta, it makes sense that the people living in Adams Park are better acquainted with their neighbors than in other places in and out of the state. If you are looking for a nice, friendly place to start or transplant a family, this is a nice option for you. Many people will agree that the generally surrounding area is somewhat college-focused. What this really means is, that if you do live the family life in Adams Park, you will be able to transfer your children to a post-secondary school very close by, giving them the freedom they want at that age and yet keeping them comfortably close to home!
