The DeKalb County school district is comprised of more than 102,000 students in 143 schools spread across the county. The school district serves East Atlanta, Avondale Estates, Chamblee, Clarkston, Decatur, Doraville, Lithonia, Pine Lake and Stone Mountain in addition to many unincorporated areas.
