Apartment Review for Brentwood Village - Atlanta, GA

This complex looks good in the daytime, however...The office staff changes like I buy new clothes. Security doesn't exist - my aprtment was broken into in the DAYTIME while I was at work. The street floods so badly when it rains you can't cross the street. Past bookkeepers have stolen money, a former rental agent stole money that was for the garbage removal. I was told by the same rental agent I needed $250,000 insurance if I got a satellite dish - LIE! The mailboxes are in horible condition and mine was broken into and mail stolen. There was a young man killed in a part of the complex that got sold off when new owners acquired Brentwood, which had been in bankruptcy. When the ATL Housing Authority said a screen in a window needed to be replaced for being too small for the window the staff acutally laughed.They used to give you a separate bill for your water usage, but now they charge an automatic amount that is most times more than your usage. If you drive by this place considering it - KEEP DRIVING!
