Apartment Review for Courtland Club Apartments - Atlanta, GA

Initially, we were positively impressed; the rooms were spacious, especially the master bedroom. After we moved in, the horrors began. 1. Toilet upstairs over flowed and seeped through to ours downstairs. This prob. occurred over and over again: actual mushrooms were growing out of our ceiling! That was the case when we moved out, after one yr. 2. My phone bill, for months, was for hundreds of dollars in long distance! Long story short: CC had rented apt. next door to drug dealers; they tapped into my phone line. CC did nothing to help me and prob. was cleared up only when the apt. next door was rented to diff. people; who were not criminals! 3. Finally, if we had stayed another yr. our rent was going up nearly $100. per mo. Since I had submitted notice in writing; we moved when our lease was up. What did the nice folks at Courtland Club do? They put their lawyers on us; for breach of contracts!!! I responded w/copies of notice I had sent CC; and, I begged them PLEASE SUE ME! They did not.
