The thing that attracted me to this building was the proximity to the buckhead bars, but now I am realizing the money I save in cabs, I pay in replacing my stolen property. I couldn't agree more with the other posts. My apartment was actually broken in to along with 3 others one afternoon while we were all at work. The leasing office is staffed by individuals who are all on different pages and have no idea what is going on. Finally one of them told us that it was someone who lived in the building or a resident’s friend who was committing these crimes, and they never even let anyone know about this issue. Since my break in late September 08, there have been numerous break ins, and attempted break ins (i.e. crow bar marks on most of the doors. Security does not exist in the building. I would only live in this building if you do not work and sit by your door all day with a shotgun waiting for someone to break in to your apartment because it will happen. The parking is horrible because guests park wherever they want meanwhile they should park on the top level, but it is not enforced by the management causing residents to have to park on top floors and walk down to their apartment. Wouldn’t be such an issue but with all the break ins you don’t really feel safe walking in the parking garage. The pools look great, but good luck enjoying them in the summer when they are to packed to even walk around. And its not all residents either. Guests are constantly asking you to let them in to use the pool, and give you attitude when you tell them no. Im sorry why are you giving me an attitude to use an amenity that I am paying for. Get your host to let you in. Where is the security? This was mentioned already in a previous post about the poorly made building. After my door was kicked down the maintenance man (who on a side note is the best thing about the building, he works his butt off) said that no wonder the door was busted, and showed me how cheap the screws were that hold in the dead bolt there were about ¾ of an inch thick and not even screwed in to the door frame. Knowing that its not like the management went around and reinforces the doors or put in security cameras. No nothing was done. Last thing that set me off is the partying. Its one thing on the weekends, I can deal with the loud noise, but on one Thursday night I was woken up at 2 am to a screeching fire alarm because a drunk guest pulled the fire alarm trying to get out of the building. This resulted in the whole building to have to sit out side for an hour until the fire department checked it all out. Pretty sweet going to work the next day when that happens…
