Apartment Review for Morningside Courts Apartments - Atlanta, GA

I lived in this complex for 4 years (mainly because I hae moving). Under the current management by Fairfield Properties this place went downhill in my opinion. First the postive. The units are in good shape, its a quiet complex and the maintenance staff are the friendliest people you could hope to meet. The negative. The management. This complex will do anything they can to scrwe you over. Make sure you document everything. I had an easy going relationship with the previous management and didn't document every interaction with them so the new company used that against me. I agreed to take a unit with the bedroom painted a light grey, upon moveout I'm being charged to repaint it. I put down a halfs month rent at move in, its now part of the security deposit. You have to give 60 days notice to move out. I gave notice on the 3rd of the month when I paid my rent, that means I had to wait for till three months later to move out. I never had to interact with the management when I lived here, I would try to recommend people to move in (they have a nice referral program). But after my dealings with trying to move out I will steer peole well away from the complex.
