Apartment Review for Overlook At Lindbergh - Atlanta, GA

I honestly like everything about this neighborhood except for the extra fees. They use a third party billing company (One Point Technologies) to consolidate all of the utilities, and their rates are 3 times Georgia Power's rates--no exaggeration! I live in a one bedroom apt and I have been paying between $90 and $110 per month for electricity. If I were billed directly from GA Power, my bill would be $40 per month (confirmed with GP). You also have to pay a $17.50 service fee for the consolidation. You also HAVE to buy valet waste svc for $20 a month. The staff will not take your complaints seriously. They continue to let their residents be overcharged more than $60-100 per month. I have heard several neighbors complaining about their high utility bills (i.e., $320 for a one bedroom)! If you want to throw away at least $100 per month, please move here. They refuse to install their own resources so that GA Power and the city can bill us directly and FAIRLY. They would rather allow all their residents to be overcharged after numerous complaints.
