Apartment Review for The Grove At Buckhead - Atlanta, GA

I have only lived at Cambridge for 11 months and the management has turned 3 times! So every time I had an issue it was "reset" everytime mgmt changed. They have hidden fees like trash fees. They require a 60 day advanced notice to vacate which is longer than any other apartment I've lived in. In my case, I gave 45 days notice so they charged me a month-to-month "market" rate of $1250/month even though their offer rate for the same apt is currenlty $950. I can guarantee that the "market" rate in zip 30305 for a ONE BEDROOM 900 sq ft apartment is NOT TWELVE HUNDRED $'s. So if you decide to live here-- make sure you give notice on time!! Other comments: running water in your apartment sounds like a train, so anytime your neighbors bath or do laundry it's loud. The pool is tiny and crowded in the summer. There were reported break-ins. Weirdest of all and I'm NOT kidding, a squirrel lived in my ceiling and woke me up frequently at night. Management's response was there is nothing we can do... To be fair, the location of this place is great, and that's what initially attracted me. Just be sure to cover your bases when you move out!
